7 years of blogging
The anniversary is in fact in April, but every year (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) I am drifting forward. In fact I am tempted to skip this altogether, but a tradition is a tradition… So, let’s make a quick digest of the notable posts from last year.
- The very first Identity Training Kit announcement was big, I was finally able to publicly discuss something I worked hard on for quite some time
- The IdElement was in full steam at the time, but I would not be able to pick a specific post: just pick the video you like the most 🙂
- Various videos of sessions i did here and there
- FabrikamShipping…
- …the token visualizer control…
- …and the magical & revolutionary control which can use claims for driving web based UIs without writing any code 😉
- Using DeepZoom for storytelling
- BOOKS!!!
- the very first guide for using WIF in Windows Azure, full of workaround which eventually became unnecessary
- The appearance on .NET rocks
- The new ACS
- the identity training course on channel9
- Drawing on slides
- Some long overdue claim philosophy, which I have still to complete
- A little trick for pre-selecting a home realm. Rough but effective
- U-Prove!
- the identity training kit gains 2 new labs: WIF+active case on Windows Azure, WIF+Silverlight
- the WIF Workshops
- Visual Studio 2010 launch keynote in Italy! Pre & post
- Claims on the client
- Interviews with the Italian press
- Various technical posts in May: pipeline, configuration, session by reference, etc
I have less and less time to blog, especially to do the deep architectural posts that I really like; but I try, and hopefully once the book will be done I’ll have more bandwidth… and 75 entries in a year, though most were announcements, is not too bad after all 🙂
Thanks to my loyal readers, old and new!
